THE NINTH HOUR – The Hour of Death and The Birthing of Life

Introduction

(scriptural references used in this article are primarily from the NKJV)

There is something certainly divine and equally amazing about the ninth hour or the hour of prayer, which also ties very closely with the evening sacrifice. In our time, the ninth hour should be around three in the afternoon. In the several instances that prayers were made in the ninth hour in scriptures, amazing things happened as direct answers from God. Elijah the prophet prayed for God to send fire on Mount Carmel at the time of the evening sacrifice and God answered dramatically. (See 1 Kings 18:29-36). Daniel the prophet prayed for understanding and the fulfillment of God’s promises to release Israel from Babylon after seventy years of captivity according to the words prophesied by Jeremiah the prophet. The angel Gabriel was made to bring answers to Daniel’s prayers at the time of the evening sacrifice (The ninth hour). See Daniel 9:20-21. The Lord Jesus hung on the cross of His sacrifice for the world and scripture says, there was darkness from the sixth hour till the ninth hour and then He gave up His spirit at that same time of the ninth hour or the evening sacrifice. Creating a reality of the ninth hour as the hour of death and the emergence of life. For without death there is no life.

Another instance of the ninth hour of prayer was also revealed when the Apostles Peter and John brought healing to the blind man at the gate of the temple, also at the hour of prayer. (see Acts 3:1). Cornelius the Roman Centurion had a visitation of an angel at the same ninth hour of prayer. A visitation which created the massive door for the dispensation of the Gentiles coming into the covenant of salvation in God. I recently was shown a couple of revelations about the imminent things that God is about to bring to pass and how they are tied to the ninth hour. The revelations revealed something however; we do not have a lot of time any more to prepare for the coming of the King. I will not share the revelations just yet, but I can assure you that the Lord is doing a quick work on the earth and He will cut it short in righteousness.

The General Thought

I have read here and there over time, that of all the prayers that were prayed at the ninth hour as recorded in scriptures, and which all received massive answers from God, only the prayer of Christ on the cross was not answered. This belief was so because it is assumed that God forsook Him because of the sin of the whole world that He was carrying on Himself. I personally do not agree to this claim that God did not answer the prayer that Jesus prayed on the cross. The reality is this, the ninth hour prayer that Jesus prayed when He cried “My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me,” which looked like the expression of the heart of a forsaken man, is directly tied to His ultimate worship, which He offered unto the Father when He said, “Father into your hands I commit my spirit”. (See Luke 23:44-46). In my sincere opinion, the greatest worship ever received by God the Father was captured in these words, “Father into your hands I commit my spirit”. How beautiful is it for a man in such pain and anguish to still remember to offer His spirit up to God as worship even as He surrendered Himself to death? This is the point of this article. The worship that must rise to God from our lives at the face of the tribulations and the deaths that must hit this world in the coming days. Will the saints of God join the world in complaints and blasphemy against God, or will they offer their lives to Him as worship even as they hang on their crosses of death? Each one must answer this question for themselves. Note this, the singular worship of Jesus to the Father, tore the veil that was set up when the first Adam failed in the garden. This singular worship did not only open the veil for us to come in to God, but also for God to come out to us. This singular worship is the foundation of the coming New Jerusalem, set upon the sacrifice of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.

The question in the coming days will now be, what will your worship be worth in eternity in the coming days of intense tribulation?

Think about it.

There is something I want to quickly point out. I do believe there is a strong connection in real time between the “It is finished” that Jesus said on the cross and the “It is done” that the Lord God said in Revelation 21:6. Both statements carry in themselves eternal realities too deep to express in the words of an article, however, let me just to try to set out the simple side of it. It is amazing really how “It is finished” not only put an end to the power of the law and the power of sin, but also gave authority over the power of death through salvation, completed the redemption story set in place from before the foundation of the earth and which also brought forth the dispensation of eternal life on earth. The death of Christ on the cross literally changed time and season on earth. In its simplest form, Before Death (BC) gave way for After Death (AD). It’s beautiful to see what the after death reality of Christ is playing out on the earth as regards to our walk of faith, however, I am also much more interested in what the reality of “it is done” will birth on the earth. For if “It is finished” opened the veil for us to come to God and for God to come to us as heirs of His own eternal inheritance, then clearly the reality of “It is done” is bringing with itself amazing things that the heart of man has never seen as possible. For of a truth, eye has not seen, ears have not heard and neither has it entered the heart of man what God prepared for those who love Him.

It is Finished

When Jesus said “It is finished,” surrendered His spirit into the hands of God, several things happened as recorded by the various books of the gospel.  The accounts are a bit different in their recording, but I will point out the similarities in them. When Jesus gave up His spirit and the soldier pierced His side, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints, who had died, were raised, coming out of their graves after His resurrection. (See Matthew 27:51-53, Mark 27:51, John 19:30)

As the book of Hebrews put it, the body of Christ that was pierced, is the veil that was opened for man to come into reconciliation with God. It was the birth of the Church, the Ecclesia of God. The words of the Lord Jesus when He said “It is finished” brought an end to the separation between God and man, brought an end to the power of the law, brought in Spirit, which is an end to the power of death by the Spirit that gives life. It is past two thousand years when the movement of Spirit was revealed on the earth and I dare say we are in the season of another shift in the Spirit. For when Christ died, time and dispensation shifted from BC to AD and now we are about to experience that which will take out the narrative of AD. Just as AD took out BC.

It is Done

My heart rejoices at that which God kept in store for the days of the reality of “It is done” which is just around the corner. Life is about to take a new form from what we have known or seen it to be. There is a new earth and a new heaven coming, and the revealing of the Bride of Christ, the New Jerusalem. It is a glorious reality to see and behold the God of glory sit in the midst of His people and be one with them. This was the prayer of all the fathers of faith, the saints of old and the prophets. They longed for this day to come, walked in lifestyles of faith that the world in all its earthly wisdom was not worthy of, just to see afar off this reality. We are privileged of the Lord to be the generation in which these realities of the new earth and the new heaven will manifest. I am excited indeed. However, hell has broken loose concerning the coming reality and the war against man has intensified.

The Tears of Rachael for aborted babies

It is not a coincidence that scripture records twice these words of prophecies “A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachael weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.” See Jeremiah 31:15, Matthew 2:18). At the birth of Christ and according to the Matthew account, boys were killed from age two downwards by the order of Herod, in order to stop the reality of the new born King sent of God on the earth. Matthew says it was the fulfillment of that which was proclaimed by the prophet Jeremiah. We see this same pattern of infant genocide during the days of the birth of Moses in Egypt. It appears clearly to me that whenever the mind of God is about to make an eternal shift on the earth, the devil tries to stop it and goes the entire length to cause even the physical deaths of those mandated to be a part of such a shift. Lately, my wife and I suddenly got interested in the abortion narrative going on globally. We could tell from the various interactions we had with a few people online that this abortion issue is really a war going on to stop the next big thing God is bringing to the earth. From our interactions, we see people get so angry and aggressively insulting when you tell them abortion is actually murder, irrespective of the name it has been given or how it has been painted to look like. It dawned on us that the events of the birth of Moses the lawgiver and the events of the birth of Christ the giver of the law of Spirit of life which is by faith, is repeating itself again. God will not do anything on the earth without the direct use of man. This is clear as daylight in the spirit world. Because this is true, the attack on the unborn child was intensified by the enemy, just so maybe the generation of those mandated to carry out the will of God in the coming days will be wiped out.

We read of vaccines that alter the immune system of babies, various attacks on pro-lifers, a massive push for abortion, and the gay agenda which intention is to remove natural birthing and then introduce “lab children” with no souls and which cannot be redeemed because they are not humans. And as Daniel 2:43 puts it, “… they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” And if you read further this chapter of Daniel, you will see that it is after the introduction of these non-mingling beings called “they” that the entire structure of the image of Babylon will be destroyed by the stone cut without hands.

This stone cut without hands which destroyed Babylon and which became a great mountain, is symbolism of the sons of God that are being raised by God in this age as it directly ties to the establishment of the kingdom of Christ on earth. They are the reality of the Joel 2 army and Gideon’s army of 300. However, this army of the sons of God will not emerge outside of their lives laid down and given as sacrifices on the cross of their worship unto God. It is this reality of the emerging sons of God which is upon us right now, that the abortions of babies are targeting.

The tears of Rachael resound again in the courts of heaven for her children, and this time, she will be comforted by that which the Lord will do. When the abortion ruling in Alabama was given, it opened a whole lot of things to the public. One of such is the inhuman attitude towards the murderous act and how people see it as getting rid of inconveniences. It was terrible realizing how deep into darkness man has fallen. We did a little research, got some statistics online for the numbers of babies aborted from 1980 globally and the number estimated stood at 1,535,163,979 (over 1.5 Billion). This same day when we did this research, I went in to pray and I saw a number in a vision. The number was 39.23. At first I didn’t know what the number meant until the Lord made me understand that the actual percentage of babies aborted globally from the 1973 Roe vs. Wade abortion ruling in relation to today’s world population is 39.23 percent. The world population right now is 7.53 billion. 39.23 percent of 7.53 billion is 2,954,019,000 billion (almost 3 billion). This actually felt more accurate judging that the initial 1,535,163,979 billion that we had researched online actually excluded chemically induced abortions and also the ones with no records at all, nor of those murdered and dumped immediately or shortly after birth. This is terrifying to say the least.

Satan clearly is waging a deadly war against the next generation of worshippers on whose shoulders the reality of the government of the kingdom of Christ will rest. And it is not just the unborn babies that are affected by this inhuman treatment called abortion, also the trauma and the guilt it leaves in the memories of the women that undergo it if they are not helped by God.

Save the next generation

Clearly we do not have time for blame games and regrets of the past. There is a call to save the next generation of the sons of God that hell is bent on destroying by what men call new age development. The cry of Rachael is again sounding in the halls of heaven for her children to be saved. Every true son of God who is interested in the coming move of God the Father, must give attention to these callings and take accurate stands for life even as God will show each one to do.

The Coming Days

I wish I could make myself say that the coming days on earth will bring much peace and rejoicing, but the opposite is the case. For the Lord told me recently that a massive global famine is going to the hit the earth as a clear indication that He that has restrained darkness from before now, will be taken out of the way. (Please see 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12). Men will call it the effect of global warming, but it is actually a global warning for men to repent of their wicked ways and the blasphemy of their hearts towards God. However, just like Isaac planted in the days of famine and reaped in multiple folds, the sons of God who will pay attention to God will be able to navigate through the coming seasons. Mind you, this famine won’t just be the famine of physical food alone, but also the famine of the word of God on the earth. Truth will evade many, for because they love the proceeds of unrighteousness, God Himself will make them believe lies, live by them and by that, be cut off. The saints will certainly, in the coming days hold on to hope as anchor, for when it seems that the voice of the Father is nowhere to be heard in the midst of that which will come, hang your heart on that hope which He gave you before now and do not also forsake the assembly of those whom He gave you to walk with, no matter how few or many they may be.
